NEWLY REDESIGNED & UPGRADED! I once shot a wedding in Oklahoma where rain came on unannounced, by the time I was able to find cover all my notes for the day were soaked and unusable. From then on I’ve tried to find the best solution and I’ve finally got it! The EDC Fieldbook is a leather journal cover designed specifically for the Rite in the Rain side spiral notebook sheet size 4.625” x 7”. I settled on this notebook as the best size for my product design sketches and this paper because it is impervious to the effects of water! What you write on this paper stays on this paper.

The Bridle Leather cover is designed to fit this notebook perfectly and have places to carry your every day carry kit (EDC). From all your pens and pencils to credit cards, ID’s, passport, business cards, rulers and guides, flashlight and even your favorite pocket knife, the EDC Fieldbook has you covered! Between the 8 pockets and 2 hang slots you can get pretty creative with how you put the Fieldbook to work for you. There are 4 specific card slots, 2 large interior pockets, a smaller passport or document pocket, and a large front pocket for all writing instruments.

Each Fieldbook comes with a notebook pre-installed.

You can purchase more notebook refills and even change up the color of the paper if you like. Another great option is we even offer a calendar which you can switch out.

The Bridle Leather is a more rugged and slightly stiffer feel in hand while the Excel Pull Up leathers are slightly thicker and more buttery soft in hand.

Rite is the Rain is a patented, environmentally responsible, all-weather writing paper that sheds water and enable you to write anywhere, in any weather.

Using a pencil or all-weather pen ensures that your notes survive the rigors of the field, regardless of the conditions.

Gel pens, highlighters or fountain pens are not recommended. 

Each bridle leather cover is matched with a specific color notebook. You can purchase refills, alternate colors or even a calendar in the drop down menu.

Chestnut comes with Green notebook pre-installed.

Tan comes with Blue notebook pre-installed.

Black comes with Black notebook pre-installed.

Tan/Black comes with Brown notebook pre-installed.

Navy comes with Blue notebook pre-installed.

Green comes with Green notebook pre-installed.

Brown comes with Brown notebook pre-installed.

The white notebook is the DuraRite Tear-Resistant Water Proof paper for the most extreme conditions.
