I've carried a pocket knife nearly every single day since I was 6 years old (to school as well, different times). In fact, I don't feel like I'm dressed and ready to leave for the day until my knife is in my pocket or on my belt. There's times however when a knife doesn't sit well in certain pockets so I designed this universal pocket knife slip for those times.

The Pocket Knife slip will accommodate most small to medium sized pocket knives and also many larger ones if you don't mind the handle sticking up which actually gives solid grip to pull out the knife. The design of this slip is unique in that you can orient the carry of your knife vertically or horizontally.

Will fit belt sizes up to 1-1/2" for both vertical and horizontal carry.

The product looks nice and should hold a reasonably sized folding knife — but, the belt loop doesn’t have enough slack; once the slip is in place, the belt pushes the leather together and almost no knife fits in. At the moment, it’s only usable as a holder that’s tossed in a carry bag of some kind. Frankly, very disappointing.

Hey Evan, sorry for your issue. I carry my large Buck Knives (110 and 112) in these, all of them. I think what you're having an issue with is the break in. These are designed to form fit to many popular knife sizes, once you fit your knife in, the leather will start to form fit around the knife. Then remove the knife, pass your belt through the opening, then slide your knife back in. You will notice that it's much tighter (at first) until the leather relaxes some. After a couple days you notice the knife starts to move with just the right pressure and it's all broken in. It just may take a few days to get that custom fit, but it works beautifully!
